About

I am a Philadelphia-based writer and journalist focused on health, medical news, and life sciences. I am passionate about healthcare access, women's and reproductive health, and medical research. 

My professional background includes local journalism, nonprofit project management, public records access, and science communication.

FOIA/Public Records
I've managed the submission and communications of thousands of public records requests across local, state, and federal jurisdictions in collaboration with journalists and newsrooms to enable investigative reporting.

Education 

 I recently went back to school to finish my bachelor's degree, which I had begun in Journalism. I moved to a science concentration with coursework in biology, biostatistics, epidemiology, public health, and science writing. I completed projects including NHANES data analysis, scientific literature reviews, academic research papers and science journalism. While a student I worked as a faculty aide to a researcher studying science communication in times of crisis, war and disaster. I graduated in Spring 2025.
